English Language
My tutoring programme focuses on English language development, encompassing critical thinking and reading skills, standard English proficiency, vocabulary improvement, comprehension of English text, and nurturing essay and creative writing skills using structures like PETAL, PEA, and PEE. I also help students acquire knowledge of grammatical terminology and enhance their reading, writing, and spoken English linguistic conventions.
English Literature
My English literature programme encompasses a wide range of texts, both classic and contemporary, to cultivate appreciation for the richness of English literature. I focus on developing students’ understanding and awareness of literature techniques and devices, enhancing their analysis of story structure. I also aim to deepen their understanding of classic English literature and improve their ability to read fluently with a strong grasp of literary concepts.
PaG – Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar:
My SPaG programme focuses on key aspects of spelling, punctuation, and grammar. It aims to enhance students’ written communication skills, enabling them to write clearly and effectively in exams and future endeavors. By teaching the fundamentals of Standard English spelling rules, I improve students’ spelling. I also help them understand and enhance sentence structure, expand their vocabulary range, and develop proficiency in punctuation and grammar to earn crucial extra examination points. Additionally, my program includes linguistic exercises to improve speech and pronunciation.
Productivity, Confidence, and Stress Management
Beyond academic development, I focus on the personal growth of my students. I help foster and boost their confidence through specialized techniques and exercises. Additionally, I provide mindfulness and relaxation techniques to improve their stress management. Students also learn productivity and time-management systems to enhance their workflow and output. I guide them in improving their energy levels and self-care using proven NLP techniques, advice, and dietary recommendations. Lastly, I help them develop effective verbal and written communication skills.

Parents can sign up for a free 30-minute consultation to discuss their child’s tutoring needs. After the consultation, they can sign up for a long-term contract for regular weekly online tutoring sessions.
How much does ARP Tutoring cost?
For my dedicated, personalised English tutoring service, the cost is £25 per 50-minute class. This includes all the comprehensive English learning programs and mindfulness techniques to aid productivity and stress management.My aim is to provide affordable, high-quality tutoring that gives students the tools they need to excel in in school, exams and beyond.
Classes are billed monthly, one month in advance, on the 20th of each month. Payment can be made via BACS (bank transfer) or direct debit.
When are ARP Tutoring classes held?
My tutoring sessions are held from Monday to Friday, between 4PM until 8PM. However, please note that at present, the only slots available are on Tuesday at 4PM and 5PM, and Friday at 4PM and 5PM. Early booking is recommended to secure your preferred slot.
What are the terms and the contract period at ARP Tutoring?
The contract period at ARP Tutoring is ongoing, and I request a commitment of at least one year. This is to ensure that students can fully reap the benefits of our tailored programmes and can make substantial progress in their English skills. If you decide to cancel the tutoring service, I ask that you provide me with a written notice via email at least 45 days in advance. This allows me sufficient time to adjust my scheduling and also gives me the opportunity to discuss any concerns or issues that might have led to the cancellation.
Yes, I offer a discount of 10% for those who wish to pay for four months upfront. You will be billed three times per year and the discount will remain in place for the full duration of your child’s tutoring period.
What is ARP Tutoring’s policy on attendance, cancellations, and holidays?
ARP Tutoring requires regular attendance to ensure consistent progress. Students are required to be committed to full attendance all year round, and any breaks exceeding two weeks at a time are strictly prohibited. If a student needs to cancel a class, I must be notified 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, the class will be charged as per usual. I understand that unexpected situations can arise, and therefore, I allow for one emergency cancellation per month within a 24-hour notice period.
When it comes to holidays, I request at least two months’ advance notice. To compensate for missed classes during the holiday period, I will schedule catch-up classes. During school holidays, I also offer extra classes for students who wish to continue their learning momentum. Please note that these additional classes will be charged separately.
At ARP Tutoring, the student’s success is my primary concern, and I go above and beyond to ensure students excel academically. Extra work, including assignments and additional study time, is routinely scheduled to reinforce classroom learning. Furthermore, I am readily available via WhatsApp to assist with any queries or school-related challenges students might be grappling with. My dedication extends beyond classroom hours and encompasses a holistic support system for both your child and you. I believe in fostering an environment where everyone thrives, and this commitment fuels our educational approach.
